WICKET a star wars/wicked parody
WICKET tells the story of Wicket the ewok from Endor who the prophecy says is destined to change the world with his genius. When the Emperor threatens to use Wickets own invention to destroy Endor it is up to Wicket and his friends to stop him. The plot is set before Luke meets Obi Wan and makes several references to well-known scenes and dialogue in the Star Wars Trilogy as a .backstory.
The auditions will be on a first come first served basis. Please be
on time as many people are interested in being apart of this production.Please have your resume attached to your headshot.
The audition will be at the Berubian Theatre

CHARACTER BREAKDOWNS
Chirpa (Puppet)
Co-Star / Male / All Ethnicities / 30 - 60 years
Description: Chirpa is the father of Kneesa and puts lots of pressure on her to be smart. He runs the school and is impressed when Wicket shows up. He is a leader in the community and endorians listen to him. A father figure.
Chirpa is a puppet. Must be ok with working with puppets. No experience necessary.
Wardrobe: WEAR ALL BLACK.
Dark Raider
Co-Star / Male / All Ethnicities / 25 - 45 years
Description: Dark Raider is a parody of Darth Vader. He is a minion of the emperor and takes over as teacher of the endorians when Logray becomes dumb. He is out to corrupt the endorians. One of the villians of the piece.
He talks with a deep voice like James Earl Jones.
Wardrobe: DRESS IN ALL BLACK.
MUST BE OK WITH WEARING CAPE AND A BLACK MASK. PLEASE BRING IF YOU HAVE.
Emperor P
Lead / Male / All Ethnicities / 30 - 60 years
Description: Emperor P is the ruler of the Empire. He is corrupt. Sinister intentions with no remorse for endorian lives. Pure evil.
He dresses in a robe.
This is a singing part.
bring 16 bars or up to a minute of a (pop or contemporary) musical theater piece. Singing a capella. Note range on your resume.Please know not only your range (SATB) but the actual notes in your range,
Wardrobe: OPTIONAL DARK ROBE.
Yabba (Puppet)
Co-Star / Female / All Ethnicities / 19 - 30 years
Description: Yabba is a parody of Jabba the Hutt. He is the young slug version of him. Generally just says his name alot. He is kept in a cage by Dark Raider.
Also you would also be playing JJ a parody of Jar Jar Binks. Doing a Jar Jar imitation is a plus.
They are both puppets. must be ok with using puppets. No experience necessary.

Bobby Fett

Description: Bobby Fett is a parody of Boba Fett. He gets pranked called by the Endorians. Annoyed he goes to Endor to get revenge.
Must be ok with wearing a mask.
Wardrobe: WEAR GREEN SHIRT AND BLACK PANTS.
Ewok chorus

Description: The chorus for the musical numbers. You get to sing along side the leads.
When not a musical number, you play a endorian extra in the non singing scenes.
